Cancer Clinical Trials
What is a clinical trial?
Clinical trials are research studies in which people help doctors find ways to improve health and cancer care. Each study tries to answer scientific questions and to find better ways to prevent, diagnose, or treat cancer.
Clinical Trials at Presbyterian St Luke's Medical Center in Denver
At PS/L, we participate in a full range of clinical trials and institutional cancer research studies. Clinical trials employ promising new drugs and treatment methods. These clinical trials are created by recognized experts, including members of our medical and nursing staff. They are rigorously reviewed by the National Cancer Institute, prior to enrolling patients.
